After the Adoption of Every Single Animal, a Shelter Celebrates the Empty Cages!

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region posted a video which quickly went viral. The video is a celebration of the empty cages at the shelter where every single dog and cat have been adopted.

The Humane Society is a nonprofit organization from southern Colorado. Their existence relies solely on donations from people who want to help the animals from their shelter. Every year this organization helps more than 28,000 animals.

One of the most amazing things that has happened in this shelter is the adoption of all the animals. A total of 25 cats and 23 dogs have found forever homes. Their cages were literally emptied and the staff was extremely happy so they decided to celebrate.

It is definitely an amazing sight and we hope that one day every shelter is going to be able to achieve this.

Isn’t this amazing?

The Empty Kennels!

What happens when your last available dog gets adopted? Your staff and volunteers jump into the kennels to celebrate! We've adopted out 25 cats and 23 dogs so far during our #HomefortheHolidays promotion, and for the second day in a row, we've adopted out ALL of our available dogs! We'll have more dogs available later tonight or tomorrow. Keep those adoptions coming!
