For cats that have some disabilities it is much harder to find a new home. Not everyone is willing to take up the challenge to adopt a disabled cat. While some don’t do it because it is a lot harder to maintain, others simply won’t do it because they think they aren’t as cute. At the end of the day all less adoptable cats deserve to find a nice and loving home.
Check out the less adoptable cats that found a loving home and won the hearts of a lot of people:
1. Lil Bub
Lil Bub has been an internet sensation for a good while now. She was a rescue kitten with a rare degenerative bone condition which is only getting worse with time. Besides of all this though, she managed to find a wonderful home with an owner that gives her all the love he possibly can.
She was found in the woods with a mangled right arm and her head stuck in a bag. Unfortunately her leg had to be amputated and she got very defensive which made it hard for people to get close to her. The shelter thought that she would never get adopted, but one day her new dad came over and fell in love with the kitty with only three legs.
When found by the Animal Rescue Team, Orren was in a very poor condition. While they were rescuing him alongside 150 other animals, he was the first thing the rescuers could hear because of his heavy breathing. After he was found they concluded that he has respiratory issues, cauliflower ear, ear and nose drainage and a heart murmur. However, the rescuers knew exactly who to call and Orren was adopted in no time.
4. Grumpy Cat
Anyone that has access to the internet has heard of Grumpy Cat. What you might not know is that it has feline dwarfism and underbite. Things were not always so great about this kitten either, but one day she got adopted besides her looks. Grumpy cat is now loved not only by her owner but by anyone that loves memes as well.
This cat was living with a hundred other cats and being malnourished. He is 20 years old and there is an unwritten rule that old cats like him are less adoptable cats. Luckily a family decided to adopt Dexter and enjoy his lovely company. Putting aside his age he is still an adorable cat that loves to be pet a lot.
Ralphee has a neurological condition that affects his ability to control coordination, which leaves him with a different way of walking. Thanks to the loving family that adopted him now he is enjoying the company of his new best friend Max the dog.

This kitten was born blind, but that doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest. A family found him on a farm in Iowa and decided to keep him. Just like any other kitten he is very playful and loves to sleep and eat.
8. Ms. Kitty
Ms. Kitty was found on a golf course with an infection on her nose which after being taken to the vet turned out to be skin cancer. They performed two surgeries in order to remove the cancer. She couldn’t be left to go outside again so they kept her at the hospital until Wendy adopted her and they live happily in their new home.

Monty is a cat born with a flat nose that make his eye appear very wide apart. Besides his chromosomal abnormalities making him look different, he has managed to find a happy home with an owner that loves him no matter what he looks like. He is just a cat that loves to cuddle just like any other one.
Lazarus is another kitten that looks a lot different from the usual cats. He was born with a cleft palate which makes it a bit difficult for the owner to take care of him. That still didn’t stop him from adopting Lazarus though, since all those difficulties are totally worth it with a sweet and loving cat like him.
Did you think these cuties are less adoptable cats? I know I would take them all!
